I am a PhD student in math at Brandeis University. My GPA is currently 3.9. I started my in 2013 and I expect to finish my PhD in 2018. My area of interest is Number Theory that isa branch of pure mathematics devoted primarily to the study of the natural numbers and the integers. It is sometimes called "The Queen of Mathematics" . I also did my master's in Pure Mathematics and my bachelor's in Applied mathematics.
Experience
I have been teaching and tutoring math in Brandeis for 3 years mostly to freshmen. I have taught Calc1, Cacl2 and Introduction to Stats in Brandeis Mathematics department. In Brandeis we have a evening help session where we help students with their Math questions. I have always enjoyed tutoring students since it's an extremely rewarding experience. I also sometimes learn from students. For example, they find very creative solutions to the problems that I don't expect and it makes me think about the whole problem again . I always try to explain everything clearly and comprehensively to students in a very friendly environment . Having spent many years studying and teaching math , I see myself qualified for tutoring math from elementary level to advanced level.
