I earned my bachelor's degree in political science and history from Gettysburg College. I plan to further my education by attending graduate school. While attending college, I helped tutor my classmates. I helped them get ready for presentations and upcoming tests. I also worked as a camp counselor for five years, as well as a swim instructor to people of all ages.I believe that all students have the ability to achieve academic success. When I was young, I really struggled as a student, but with a bit of help, I learned to thrive on academic challenge. While I can tutor in many subjects, I am especially passionate about history and social sciences. I also get great enjoyment from helping all kinds of students, even those who do not fit the standard academic mold.I am well versed in a variety of subjects. Some of those include elementary and middle school math, geometry, statistics, physics, literature, college essays, government, philosophy, earth science, and all levels of algebra. I also do well helping students with preparing for standardized tests such as the PSAT and the SAT.I live in Marblehead, MA, and in my free time I enjoy hiking, running, swimming, boating, cooking, and watching football. I also enjoy traveling whenever I can.
